After leaving my group practice, starting my own with no assistance, managing it for a few years and believing it was doing fairly well, I found myself having to deal with the more challenging task of deciding on an EMR that was reasonable for the practice and the staff. Gary Meza, owner of GTM Medical Consulting, was recommended by a close friend.  Also a doctor, she was actually in the same situation, just a few steps ahead and at the time being assisted by Gary. Looking back, I realized that I did not do too bad, considering that like most physicians, I did not receive didactics on the business of medicine.  Like most physicians, I had so little time to handle the aspect of my growing practice and the daily tasks of running my practice.  My minimal experience helped me during the first few years of my practice, but expertise was definitely what the practice needed during this time.  GTM provided that to our practice.
